Is there hope for Ted Haggard? Can a person really sow good seed and bad seed? Or was it a bad plant all along?
The liars and deceivers, who speak the speak, but never walk the walk, are they really Christians? Or is it all a sham, a mental, spiritual body slam?

A book came out not too long ago that was aiming at causing controversy, and it did cause controversy, despite the fact that its premise was absolutely true and correct. The premise was that modern-day Christianity is almost 100% inundated with paganism, in almost every single practice. But there was something terribly hilarious about the book...
...the author claims that the central aspect of Christianity that is off-base, the central "doctrine" that has been so obfuscated that it is hardly explainable by Christian "apologists" (so-called), is not pagan in its origin, but fully orthodox, kosher, and a-okay!
What am I talking about?
That's a good question. I have confused myself so much just thinking about the asinine "author" that I have almost lost the thread of this verbal tapestry. Um, what was it, anyway?
Oh yes, the author goes on to explain that this is pagan in origin, and that is pagan, and he leaves out the central fact that THE SABBATH, one of the Ten Commandments, the practice of Jesus during His ministry and
The practice and custom of all the Disciples and later Apostles, that all of them kept the Sabbath, and I do mean the Biblical Sabbath, whereas modern-day "Christians" instead choose the day of the sun, a fully pagan day that has been around longer than Christianity (in much the same way as so many "Christians" embrace Christmas as a holy day, regardless of its fully pagan origins). This author actually has the audacity to claim that Sunday worship is not pagan in origin, but one of the customs that is GOOD for Christians to keep, and even claims it is Biblical.
Of course, he is speaking from a very different Bible than I know (possibly "The Message" which is the only "bible" that pays respect to the pagan day of Sunday).
Truth is not what the author desires, but controversy. And telling lies is a good way to generate controversy, and generating controversy is a good way to generate money in book sales, so I guess it is easy to figure out what is most important to this certain author.
Surprising, huh?
