Yeah, me too. I'm a sucker. I wanna git rich, and muy pronto, amigo. Yeppers, me too. I think it is the human condition. We are naturally lazy, naturally stupid, naturally gullible. We all want them magic beans. Who needs a cow when there are magic beans to be had.
I'm going to concentrate here, here I go, I'll even say the magic words: "Hommina hommina hommina hommina hommina hommina!"
Hmmm, the stack of million dollar bills just didn't materialize on my desktop. I must not have enough faith.
But if you just send me, $29.95, you too can have all the magic faith necessary, that's right you can tap right into the gooey formula, and God, or the universe, will have to answer. It's a law. Yep, that's right. Forget God's laws, what He said were His laws. Because in the last 100 years or so people have found better laws then what God ever said. They are Attractive Laws, Attraction Laws. How to Pick Up Chicks without Even Trying.
Gimme summadat, oooh yeah.
Somewhere along the line we need to
just wake up. Hey, it's a tough world. There are no magic beans. There is no Universal Genie echoing: "Thy wish is my command!" Take a big whiff? Smell that? It's coffee, and it smells a whole lot better than the BS they are piling up around you. If you call BS "truth," that don't make it truth. It is still a smelly pile of bovine feces. Fecal matter.
Let's get suckahfree. We don't have to be suckers. Yeah, okay, it's easy to be a sucker. The deceivers are all about us, and they are good at what they do. But it is still deception, regardless of how attractive they make the BS appear.
The truth is, the world is not fair. The truth is, the wicked get more blessing than do the righteous (and nobody likes to hear that, not the wicked, and certainly not the righteous). But the fact is, God loves the wicked just as much as He does the righteous, and possibly even more, since they are trying their damndest to get away from Him. And the filthy-mouthed punk kid that hates their parent is the one that is the most tragically beloved.
“New
opinions often appear first as jokes and fancies,
then as blasphemies and treason, then as questions open to discussion, and finally as established truths.”
