There is a big, mean, older brother, he has white hair, and he reads a lot, while his younger brother is a complete boob, believes in Bigfoot, and likes to dance around in public. But they are working together, these two brothers, with very common beliefs and purposes and dreams. The older brother feels it is his duty, his destiny, his calling by God Himself, to rule the world, to even save the world from itself, and purge the entire world of sinners, deceivers, cultists, and those that would oppose him. The younger brother loves to laugh, watch TV, and believes in his heart that his older brother is a complete legalist, but still a part of the family nonetheless.
Most people have no clue that these two are brothers. They are never seen together. People hear the older brother openly scoffing at his boob of a younger sibling. People hear the younger brother laughing uproariously at how anal retentive is the older brother. But this perception is by design, as the older brother is a thinker, and he has pondered his destiny, long and hard and very thoroughly.

Whatever the older brother says about the world, the younger brother accepts immediately, because he has never thought about anything, not himself. That's his big brother's job, and the older brother cultivates this perception. He tells his boob of a younger brother that people hate him, hate the both of them, and that hating is evil, unless it is condoned by God, and since God has chosen these two brothers, they are right in their hating of those that are not them, those that are not of them, because God hates all those He has not chosen. The older brother pats the younger brother on the back and says: "Be angry, God wants you angry, because God is angry, that's why He sends storms and earthquakes and AIDS."
The younger brother runs into the street shrieking and screaming, yelling at full tilt how evil is everyone around him, prophesying God's retribution, fire raining from heaven, destruction, and this young brother holds up "fire suits" for sale, "Buy this, and you will be safe!"
The older brother smiles, his time coming.

An Oz Moses Featurette
“To say of what is, that it is not, or of what is not, that it is, is false;
while to say of what is, that it is, and of what is not, that it is not, is true.”
- Aristotle
