“Many evangelicals are beginning to recognize, almost intuitively, that the wanton abuse of natural resources is fundamentally incompatible with a view of creation as God's handiwork.”
- Randall Balmer

Think about it. Creation. Yahweh. And God places care of this world in the hands of the people He creates -- um, that would be . . . um, us, I guess, right?
Shouldn't we CARE about the world? Especially if you are Christian, shouldn't you care? Or is that just for pagans and Jews, the care of the world? Why do non-Christians care more about the health of the world than do Christians...?
In their rush to pick and choose which verses suit them best, most Christians have completely disregarded a very spectacular verse, and what it actually SAYS, about the end of time, and how God is going to deal with a certain crew. Would you like to read this verse? It is eye opening, that I can assure you.

And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. Revelation 11:18 (KJV)

Someone that considers themself a "Christian," and yet does not care for the health and well-being of the Earth, should tremble when they read this verse. God is coming back to destroy those guys that are destroying the Earth.
Do you know how deluded people have been tricked into disregarding such viable truths? They have been taught that if they say a few magic words, "I accept Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior," that bim, bam boom they don't gotz to worry no moah, cuz dey gotz duh coatin' -- they don't have to worry about responsibility, feeling grace trumps it.
Sin all ya want, is the rapturous "doctrine."

“Truth that has merely been learned is like an artificial limb, a false tooth, a waxen nose; it adheres to us only because it is put on. But truth acquired by thought of our own is like a natural limb; it alone really belongs to us.”
- Arthur Schopenhauer
